Mission

The Lexington Fair Housing Council is a full-service, nonprofit civil rights agency committed to eradicating discrimination in housing. The Fair Housing Council enforces the federal Fair Housing Act, the Kentucky Fair Housing Act, and the local fair housing ordinances (where applicable).

The Lexington Fair Housing Council is the only private nonprofit fair housing agency in Kentucky and investigates complaints throughout the Commonwealth.

The Lexington Fair Housing Council does not charge for its services. If you have experienced discrimination in your search for a home or when seeking insurance (homeowners or renters) or mortgage financing, please call our office at (859) 971-8067.
