Lexington’s Homeless School Children

The Lexington Fair Housing Council has completed a report on the increasing trend of homeless school children in the Fayette County Public School district, which finds that the incidence of homelessness among school children has never doubled from 2013 to 2016. The report includes an analysis of correlations observed among school children who have experienced homelessness as well as recommendations about how the Lexington city government can address this seemingly growing problem.
